Information to Have Ready
When reporting an outage, please be prepared to provide:
- Service address or account number
- Name on the account
- Phone number where you can be reached
- Any helpful details (sparking lines, fallen trees, loud noises, etc.)
When to Call 911 First
Your safety comes first. Call 911 immediately if you notice:
- Downed power lines
- Electrical fires
- Poles or transformers sparking or smoking
- Power lines blocking roadways or touching vehicles
Never approach or attempt to move downed power lines. Always assume they are energized.
